Check Point named Gartner Magic Quadrant leader for seven years running

Published on: 28 Sep 2018

Check Point Software Technologies has been recognised as a leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Threat Management (UTM) for the seventh year in a row.

The cyber security software provider’s Next Generation Firewall (Check Point Security Gateways) continues to have one of the largest UTM market shares and focuses on enhancing threat prevention technologies, including anti-ransomware and CPU level emulation capabilities.

Its solutions assist companies in protecting their data from advanced fifth-generation threats and attacks.

Peter Alexander, Check Point’s chief marketing officer, said it was a proud moment for the company.

“In today’s fifth-generation cyber-attack environment, it’s crucial to take the necessary measures toward a better secured architecture,” he commented.

“Businesses must fortify themselves with threat prevention - not just detection - technology that will combat large scale, multi-vector attacks before they happen.”

Check Point says its Infinity architecture offers the most advanced threat prevention, wholeness of security vision, the largest offering of security solutions and top-tier security management.
