Job Details
We partner with a well established and recognised brand in the UK who is now seeking a Security Operations Centre Specialist to join their InfoSec team which plays a vital role in protecting their business, members and customers. They are investing heavily in technology to really develop the InfoSec capabilities. This is a highly technical role & your main responsibilities within this position will be to utilise a range of technologies to provide a technical response to cybersecurity based incidents through to remediation.

Responsibilities for the Security Operations Centre Specialist will include (but not limited to):

• Use a range of security-related technologies (Mainly Splunk) to provide Incident Response
• Support SOC Manager & Incident Manager to communicate incidents to the business
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, and be up to date on developing existing and evolving threats

Skills required for the Security Operations Centre Specialist include (but are not limited to):

• Experience working with Splunk Enterprise Security and various IDS/IPS tools
• Have the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
• Make confident in making vital decisions under pressure
• Experience in malware analysis
