Job Title: Engineering Operations Administrator


About the role...

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our rapidly growing Cyber Innovation Centre Team in Gloucester, contributing to produce, support and develop the key data used to empower the business.

Main Duties:


  • Perform general administration tasks.
  • Maintain relevant records and documentation.
  • Weekly Time sheet running and collation.
  • Maintain and evolve the existing spreadsheets for multiple sites.
  • Data creation & reporting for the Engineering Review as well as for Finance.
  • Resolve any Operations related queries using the tools and data available.
  • Maintain and act upon a dedicated eMail account.
  • Carry out agreed operational procedures of a routine nature.
  • Communicate, chase and follow up when requesting data from Engineers via email and occasionally phone.
  • Assists with CV collation and formatting.
  • Assist with the creation of job offers, under direction, to create job positions to be used by recruitment.

  • Accuracy and ability to approach problems not already covered by existing data or reports.
  • The ability to 'get the job done'.
  • Not be afraid to ask questions.
  • Be structured in their approach to work.
  • Self-manage tasks with priority and work to deadlines.
  • Be a good, clear communicator.
  • Be willing to apply for SC clearance.

Experience with the following tools:


  • Office Suite of tools - Word, Excel, Power Point, eMail.
  • Experience of excel a necessity.
  • Ideally exposure to writing or maintaining formulae within Excel but not essential.
