Security Consultant - Manchester - Permanent - £40,000-£75,000 + bonus + benefits

A fast-growing, research-led cyber security consultancy is currently looking for a number of Security Consultants at all levels to help deliver security programmes for their end clients. This is a great opportunity to join a consultancy that invests time into developing your personal career. When not on client site, you will be conducting research to tackle upcoming cyber threats and finding innovative ways to defend against them.

This would suit candidates that are:

• Passionate about security, you have a love for hacking and solving problems
• Know more than just running port scans using tools, but the ability to code up and develop your own tools
• Self-motivated to work with the clients and figuring out ways to benefit them
• Communicate and engage with end clients, consulting them to share your knowledge on the problems and solutions to any attacks
• Know your way around a variety of testing methods, performing SQLi without necessary using SQLmap
• Knowledge of the leading testing tools on all major platforms

It would be desired for you to have the industry leading certifications, notably:

• OSCP
• OSCE
• CEH
