Senior Security Consultant GRC - Technical Security Risk, FinTech
An innovative, global Fintech company is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join their expanding EMEA Cybersecurity Consultancy team, whilst working as part of their global security function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative company with a very strong vision to keep moving forward.
You will be responsible for advising projects and programmes on security best practice and advice on technical security risk assessments, security controls, and security risk management frameworks. This will also involve presenting your findings from technical risk assessments to technical and business stakeholders across the broader security function and team. A key part to this role is providing consultancy, both internally and externally, to ensure that the organisation is following industry and regulatory requirements. This role will take responsibility for delivery-focused engagement on new security initiatives. You will be identifying gaps or areas for improvement in security compliance to policy or European standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution, and broader definition of compliance programmes, and cybersecurity risk and control frameworks
• Implementing Risk Management and Cybersecurity Assessment activities in Europe, in alignment with the equivalent global function, whilst reporting to the Information Security Consultancy Manager
• Monitor any changes in European or industry regulatory requirements, and ensure that these are communicated, and accounted for, within the security and risk teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience at presenting information to all levels, having the ability to effectively communicate and facilitate group discussions
• Significant experience in information security compliance
• Experience and knowledge of information security related technologies and practices, alongside technical and business focussed risk management principles
