National Cyber Security Centre to be opened by the Queen

The new £1.9 billion National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in central London will be officially opened by the Queen today (February 14th).

The Victoria-based centre, which is part of intelligence agency GCHQ, will be the UK’s authority on cyber security and will seek to reduce risks to the UK by working with public and private sector organisations to improve their IT and online security.
