Check Point Infinity named best new cyber security product at annual awards

Check Point’s Infinity has been voted ‘New Product of the Year’ at the Network Computing Awards 2018.

Winners are decided by readers of Network Computing Magazine, giving industry-wide recognition to the technology, tools, solutions and products at the forefront of the evolving network IT market.

Peter Alexander, chief marketing officer at Check Point, reacted to the win by saying: “The Network Computing Awards are well known and respected throughout the industry, which makes this award a powerful endorsement of Infinity’s capabilities from the IT and security teams that actually deploy and use these solutions in their work every day.

Check Point claims that Infinity is the first consolidated security across networks, cloud and mobile, providing users with the highest level of threat prevention against targeted attacks.

A statement from the software company added: “These sophisticated attacks on mobile, cloud and various enterprise networks, easily bypass conventional, static detection-based defenses being used by most organisations today.”
