CompTIA Recognises BluescreenIT for International Innovation and Leadership

Published on: 8 Sep 2020

BlueScreenIT, whose commitment to preparing individuals for careers in technology has not wavered in the midst of a global pandemic, has been presented with an Innovation Award by CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the global technology industry.

BlueScreen IT is one of 12 organisations recognised by CompTIA during its recent Partner Summit. More than 1,500 people from 70-plus countries participated in the online event.

CompTIA’s Innovation Award recognises partners for their response to the COVID-19 and their commitment to continue to train to CompTIA courses and certification as they prepared students for careers in information technology (IT).

“The critical role filled by technology professionals during the pandemic has been acknowledged by many, and rightly so,” said Joe Padin, CompTIA vice president for business development. “For many IT pros, the knowledge and skills they employ today were sparked and nurtured under the tutelage of teachers, instructors and trainers. CompTIA is pleased to present this award to the BlueScreenIT team for their contributions to help individuals realise their career aspirations.”

“This is a key moment in BluescreenIT’s history. In gaining a prestigious International Innovation Award it highlights our commitment to developing and finding alternative ways to deliver quality training experiences. Despite challenging market conditions our online offering supported our customers in obtaining the certifications they need to pursue their career” Mike Dieroff, BluescreenIT Chief Executive Officer

In the wake of the coronavirus lockdown, BlueScreenIT took a very agile and proactive approach in pivoting to online training, recruiting students, collaborating with CompTIA and utilizing CompTIA’s CertMaster suite of products to prepare students for their certification exams.
