Practice Manager / People Manager (IT Security) - Edinburgh

Within our specialist IT Security Practice we have a position for a Client Service Manager to be based in our Edinburgh office. This is a fantastic role that will allow you really capitalise on your People Management skills and develop the ECS culture within the practice. You'll get exposure to multiple ECS clients and be able to hone your relationship management skills working with stakeholders at all levels being a key member of the management team.

Managing a team of IT Security Specialists you will be responsible for on-boarding, performance management, coaching and training and ensuring that we have the right consultants in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with the central Security team and Account teams leading the planning of service provision, coordinating internal business management processes for successful outcomes and participating in all aspects of forecasting and people management.

You should:

  • Have experience managing teams, sometimes based in multiple locations.
  • Be able to nurture and develop employees, understanding their requirements and needs and able to bring the best out of their skills
  • Identify any training and development needs and work with employees to ensure the relevant plans are put into place to keep skills up-to-date.
  • Be the go-to person for any queries or issues whilst the consultants are on site
  • Have the ability to work with other areas of the business to ensure that a seamless services is presented to the client
  • Be able to develop strong relationship with ECS suppliers and customers.
