  • Acts as the Global Capabilities lead in the AMERICAS region and is a member of the Global Capabilities leadership team  
  • Accountable for ensuring the Capabilities operating model is understood, embedded and operating successfully within AMERICAS.  Acts as an enabler and influencer to allow the operating model to be effective.  
  • Responsible for the Capabilities workforce in the AMERICAS region spanning engineering, consulting and project management.  
  • Establishing an allegiance to and appreciation of membership of the Capabilities organisation across the capabilities community.  
  • Responsible for embedding the Practice model within the AMERICAS region, working with the local practise co-ordinators in region.  Creating a sense of community for those Practices in region.  
  • Responsible for capacity and resource management of this workforce in AMERICAS to meet business demands. Works in collaboration with the Capability Directors and Practice Heads in understanding and agreeing the AMERICAS Capabilities demand.  
  • Ensures that the AMERICAS resource demands are understood by the Operations Director, Practise Heads and that these are reflected in the Financial Plan for each Practice.  
  • In line with FIW33 Policy, approves hires against an agreed Global Financial plan for each Practice in AMERICAS.  This role has responsibility for delivering against this plan within AMERICAS.  Any roles not within the agreed plan need agreement with Global Capabilities Director.  
  • Responsible for career management of the Capabilities workforce in AMERICAS and ensuring those individuals have career managers and that their career development frameworks are embedded and understood by Capabilities employees in AMERICAS.  
  • Liaises with the Practice Heads on training plans for Capabilities employees in AMERICAS to ensure the training plans are implemented.  
  • Drives continuous improvement in productivity and cost to serve, including migrating work to the most appropriate and cost effective locations. Works with global colleagues to assist in the continual evolution of tools, processes and techniques for cost benefits and long term productivity.  
  • Lead through influence and team work to secure buy-in from local AMERICAS leadership and with the Capabilities leadership team.  
  • As part of the Regional leadership ensures compliance with the Operational Framework and any local legislation.  
  • A business enabler and influencer who will ensure that employees within AMERICAS understand the transformational journey that reduces costs, identifies operational efficiencies, evolves the operating model in line with the Operating Model and AI and AMERICAS regional business strategy and plans.  
  • Operates within the agreed Delegation of Authority limits defined within Capabilities for resourcing and remuneration decisions within AMERICAS
