About The Team
The team is responsible for delivering in-sourced IT infrastructure solutions for the business, with a focus on select services that enable our engineering teams and their development and production systems. This spans an international workforce to provide global and localised services. The team itself is also internationally distributed. We are organised around a product team structure with roles focussed on delivery, engineering and architecture.

About The Role
The Cloud Engineer will work across our deployed technologies used to build up the services in scope for the product team. This is a multi-functional role that works with a Product Team to deliver business value through a high quality product using optimized-flow delivery models based on Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban.
Primarily working with cloud infrastructure technologies, the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the whole lifecycle, covering deployment, maintenance, change, break-fix, continuous improvement and decommissioning. Design responsibilities also exist within the role, under the supervision and direction of the product architect. A key aspect of the role will be to practically endorse, support and implement re-usable patterns, utilising infrastructure as code so that future deployments can be delivered trough automation and code-reuse.
Cloud Engineers will have a deep understanding of the deployed infrastructure, its use-cases and how it brings benefits to the users of the service, they will live and breathe the Agile manifesto and will use processes, tools and culture to continuously improve what they do and how they work.
