Reporting to the Marketing Operations and Campaigns Director, this is a key role at the heart of the global marketing and communications function. The main focus of the role will be in developing, leading and delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns, maximising marketing investment to driving market awareness and pipeline development in line with the business strategy.
The role will focus on targeted campaigns for our Financial Services Division, covering a range of market leading propositions within the Insurance and Banking markets. As such the role will require close collaboration with the Financial Services field marketing teams, with dotted reporting line into the Global Financial Services field marketing lead.
Responsibilities will include campaign strategy and planning, management and execution, performance management, stakeholder and supplier management, campaign reviews and reporting. Close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, within the communications and marketing team, and across the wider stakeholder community, is essential.
This is a high profile role with significant responsibility to drive and deliver engaging and innovative integrated campaigns, co-ordinated across communications and marketing, product and sales. Working quickly and delivering to deadlines is a key part of the role in order for us to capitalise on our market leading position. 
The following is a broad outline of responsibilities: 
  • Driving and managing engaging and effective integrated comms and marketing campaigns in line with business strategy;
  • Working with the comms and marketing specialist teams (brand, digital, systems, events, internal/external comms, field marketing), product teams, sales teams, and key stakeholders across the business to ensure the campaigns are executed effectively and are aligned to strategy, target audience and portfolio; 
  • Building a good understanding of target audience, company capability and business drivers to ensure high impact, engaging campaign delivery across a range of integrated tactics. This will include an increasing focus on targeting accounts (Account Based Marketing);
  • Supporting development of thought leadership and campaign content, working to develop creative, compelling campaigns that are newsworthy, relevant and translate across a number of channels;
  • Managing stakeholders, delivery to agreed timescales, and budgets;
  • Management of resources and external suppliers, eg comms agencies, event suppliers, content syndication partners and marketing / design agencies
  • Understanding legal and process requirements and their implications for marketing activity i.e. data and web, and ensuring compliance to company processes and brand guidelines
  • Metrics and measurement - ensuring tracking of appropriate KPIs and ROI, reporting on success of campaigns to a range of stakeholders. 
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in defining and driving significant marketing and comms integrated campaigns in a B2B environment
  • Experience of managing the delivery of a range of comms and marketing tactics within an integrated campaign (including collateral and message creation, thought leadership, PR & media, events, webinars, email, social media, paid advertising, programmatic, OOH)
  • Understanding of, and ideally experience in, Account Based Marketing techniques
  • Proven supplier management and budget management experience
  • Good understanding of marketing trends and innovative approaches with experience in the following an advantage -  personalisation, buyer intent, customer journey mapping
  • Key market awareness i.e. financial services, insurance and banking fraud, compliance, data engineering and digital transformation, cyber services, general tech.
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who can work to and ensure others in the business meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise well, including helping coordinate activity across a number of functional teams;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Can do attitude and willingness to step in and support others in line with changing business demands;
  • Capable of acting both independently and working with a team;
  • Aptitude for remaining calm, even when handling a large number of competing demands on time and energy;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
