Our client, a multinational company in the financial industry is currently hiring for a very exciting cyber security project in Spain and seeking a number of Threat Intelligence Specialists to build a best in class and globally admired Cyber Intelligence capability to help protect the Group's staff, clients and around a million systems, devices and appliances globally.
The Threat Intelligence Specialist will become part of a global team distributed across multiple countries, including intelligence experts with local backgrounds and native language skills to understand the threats emanating from cyber criminal communities.

The Threat Intelligence Specialist will become part of a global team distributed across multiple countries, including intelligence experts with local backgrounds and native language skills to understand the threats emanating from cyber criminal communities.
- You will analyse different attacking tactics and techniques that are employed to harm the company and critical infrastructure and information assets.
- Provide rich threat context that allows the global security organisation to understand and counter advanced attacks and to focus on real, high-impact threats.
- Develop and maintain the documentation and manuals of the different process executed in terms of threat intelligence and data collection.
- Develop documentation that will be shared with Governments & Law Enforcement to create a common threat information framework.
- Execute threat data collection and analysis projects and activities that may include:
- Use and configure different data collection systems such as sensors, honeypots, deception nets, and other data collection devices.
- Use specialised software to analyse great amounts of data.
- Configure and maintain automated systems that will use threat information collected to update networks and systems.
- Extensive experience working in a technical security position, cyber threat landscape, attack techniques, tools and processes or similar background.
- In depth knowledge of information technology, security solutions and frameworks.
- Understanding of technical and human aspects of cyber threats and security.
- Technical knowledge in information security in at least some of the following fields:
- Networking and IDS/IPS
- VPN
- ToR network
- Network protocol analyzer such as Wireshark
- Reverse engineering (OllyDbg, IDA, etc.).
- Other tools such as FireEye, TrendMicro, etc.
- Excellent technical understanding of IT and Information Security solutions, processes and systems.
