We are working with a growing UK software vendor, specialising in PIM/PAM/PUM. Their product manages, audits and proxies connections to multi-vendor devices and appliances. With an innovative, modern approach to solving the worlds privileged access problems, They're becoming a disruptive force in the UK market. Given the recent IPO in April this year we are looking for a couple of keen support engineers to expand the team.
Who we are looking for
As a support engineer you will be responsible for looking after existing customers, and future prospects as they use and expand their deployments. Due to the nature of the product you will be exposed to a wealth of technologies such as management protocols, network devices, automation/scripting languages, APIs and various operating systems. There is huge scope for learning in this role. The buck stops with us, so we have to know a lot about the systems we integrate with!
You will also be responsible for maintaining and using our support ticketing portal. They take support very seriously and are proud of our response times and strong customer relationships. Whether you have a few years of experience in a support role, or are a junior looking for a way into the cyber security world, we would like to hear from you.
The role requires you to be able to visit customer site if necessary, sometimes at short notice.
We like people who:
  • Have excellent customer facing communication skills.
  • Can use support ticketing systems.
  • Show tenacity when tackling a problem, while remaining composed.
  • Aren't afraid of digging into a problem and learning as they go.
  • Have basic Linux experience.
  • Have basic Active Directory experience.
Qualifications for success:
  • Has worked at a software vendor.
  • Has advanced Linux administration experience.
  • Understand or appreciate agile software development methodologies.
  • Can read/write code even at a basic level.
  • Is able to communicate effectively between development/sales/marketing and management.
  • Can administer Active Directory to an advanced level.
  • Knows stuff about XML.
  • Can write a regex and tell us what it does.
  • Has used Wireshark effectively.
  • Is aware of XPath.
  • Has used Dropbox API.
