Airborne ISR - Broughton

Summary of Role:
The primary responsibility is to ensure the organisation remains compliant with the multiple Civil and Military regulatory approvals.
Manage the identification and resolution of quality issues/concerns both internal and external customer originated.
Support the Quality Manager (Maintenance) and Head of Quality (AS) with defined Key Performance Indicators.
Pro-actively engage with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, analyse the output of audits and investigations to identify adverse trends and look for predictive trends.
Raise awareness of Quality across the business and facilitate a culture of learning and improvement in order to drive process and systemic improvement

Main Duties:
Ensure the company meets its contractual, and regulatory obligations via compliance monitoring, provide efficient, reliable, advice to the business as part of the Team and support the Head of Quality.

Proactive and committed in the pursuit for improvement and innovation across the business and is quality focused
Take personal responsibility to ensure they are aware of the business objectives and issues facing the organisation.
Actively network across all business areas to gain the best possible solutions and savings from 'Lessons Learned'
Conduct audits when and where required
Conduct Investigations
Conduct root cause analysis and monitor trends to ensure areas of concern are highlighted to the appropriate Managers
Work with the Compliance Manager to establish and communicate the annual Audit Programme.
Conduct risk assessments on issues facing the Quality Function, and other functions as required
Generate and monitor KPI's for the business.
Keep abreast of new Quality techniques and advise how to implement within the business
Maintain CQI qualification.
Act as Quality System Advisor to value streams within RSL, providing advice, education and quality tools.
Any other duties as required by the Head of Quality (AISR)

Candidate Requirements:
Essential:

Must have a strong recent back ground in Quality Systems.
Part 145, 21G, and Military regulatory experience
CQI Qualification.
Proficient in identifying and implementing business metrics
ISO Auditor trained.
Proficient in the use Microsoft Office
Understanding of Risk
Strong Commercial awareness

Desirable:
Degree in Quality.
Chartered Quality Professional
Benchmarking experience
Practical Experience of implementing a Quality System

Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
