Shadow Support Programme Manager
Broughton

Summary of Role:
Raytheon UK require an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of an availability based, Long Term Sustainment programme for the RAF Shadow fleet.
The Programme Manager will work with all internal functional teams and sub-contractors to successfully deliver all aspects of fleet support including fleet management, engineering, maintenance and supply chain.

Main Duties:
Overall responsibility for the day to day delivery of all aspects of fleet support in line with contracted requirements to meet the suite of contractual Key Performance Indicators.
Overseeing and directing both the Raytheon team and suppliers of sub-contracted services to ensure that Long Term Sustainment meets the customers fleet availability goals within the contracted budget, performance and quality requirements.
Identify optimisation opportunities and lead Continuous Improvement activities to ensure on-going improvements to effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure, in conjunction with Project Controls, robust schedule and financial control and reporting.
Prepare, distribute and brief both internally and to the customer, monthly reports detailing Contract Performance.
Oversee management of risks and opportunities and ensure robust control of new tasks, scope and contract change.
Carry out effective stakeholder engagement with the customer community and Suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
Strong Leadership skills, able to build strong relationships with customers and peers.
Excellent Communication - written and verbal at all levels within the organisation and with the customer
Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
Experience in leading cross functional programmes
Ability to identify and understand technical programme issues, to summarize key concerns and facilitate problem solving of complex issues across business units and organisational boundaries
Degree in Engineering or Business Management, plus established experience in programme/project using business performance management and reporting methodologies
Established background in Aerospace and Defence
Detailed understanding of risk and opportunity management.

Eligible for or holder of current SC security clearance (Raytheon UK will sponsor as required)

Desirable:
A successful track record in executing full lifecycle development programmes for the UK MoD.
Member of a relevant Engineering or Programme Management Professional Institution
Capable of managing and motivating a diverse team in the delivery of innovative solutions.
Bid and Proposal management, winning new, repeat or follow on business through leading and supplying winning proposals
Demonstrated technical proficiency in MoD acquisition processes
Experience of managing multi-disciplined teams
Experience of dealing with UK MoD and other Government departments would be an advantage.
Experience of working within a regulatory airworthiness environment, both military and civil.
