My client, a leading Investment Bank, is looking to hire a Head of Information Risk within it’s EU headquarters in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Identify and analysis of information security risks across all assets and external processes
  • Implementation of security policies and standards for the region
  • Ensuring security awareness training for all staff in the region is fit for purpose
  • Supporting the DPO in addressing all privacy requirement and ensuring data governance is in line with regulation
  • Delivery of Identity Management controls
  • Contributing to regional business continuity planning
  • Responding to internal and external requests for information
  • Reporting and responding to data breaches

Preferred skill set:

  • Significant Information Security experience within Financial Services
  • Proven experience within Security Architecture
  • Good knowledge of control frameworks and regulatory requirements pertaining to Financial Services
  • Deep understanding of technologies in all areas of security
  • Deep understanding of security and privacy and the legislation affecting it
  • Experience working to various recognised standards (NIST, ISO 27001/27002 etc)
  • Fluency in German is essential
