Job Description
Our client is one of the UK's major banks. It is seeking someone with experience undertaking vulnerability assessments and / or penetration testing who is keen to move their career in a new direction.
The purpose of an internal audit function is to provide assurance to the Board of Directors that risks and controls are being properly managed. Working in an internal audit department provides a broad overview of an organisation and in this case the bank's technology infrastructure.
The role we are recruiting is to undertake internal audit reviews of the bank's cyber security function, in particular its vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities. The role will also facilitate learning new areas by auditing wider technology infrastructure.
To be considered for this role you will ideally hold a computer science degree and have gained experience working in a penetration testing or vulnerability scanning and assessment role either at an end-user or service provider. You will need to be demonstrate understanding concepts of network configuration, and design including firewall rules, traffic analysis and port scanning.
