EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster, and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) - EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

Job Summary:

The Technical Lead for Office 365 Power Platforms (Power BI, PowerApps, Flow, Forms) is a highly skilled senior role with industry leading technical expertise to support one or more Product Managers. He/she has a deep end to end understanding of all technical aspects of the service and is the key integration point with other products/services.
This role will have an initial focus on Office 365 Power Platforms but will expand in the short term into other Office 365 applications Office 365 Groups, Dynamics 365, Project/Visio Online.

Essential Functions of the Job:

The Power Products Technology Lead
  • Builds a trusted advisor relationship with all of his/her stakeholders
  • Closely aligns with the Microsoft 365 Services Product managers
  • Represents EY Technology on Microsoft Power Products projects within EY to ensure the technology is understood and made available to.
  • Champion of Office 365 Power Products across EY
  • Technically proficient in the understanding and administration of Microsoft power Products
  • Drive the adoption and high satisfaction of Office 365 Power Products
  • Planning, managing and executing a number of projects across Office 365 Power Platforms
  • Using data to provide insights about Product adoption and recommending changes to increase adoption metrics
  • Manage Yammer presence
  • Creates and maintains knowledge articles
  • Develop presentations and other collaterals to build understanding in the business of what the products can do
  • Manages off-shore resources to deliver programmes of work
  • Negotiates overall solution cost vs capability and can translate this into an experience decision
  • Directs global consistency in the Office 365 experience

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • History of working credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills including strong cross-cultural communication and the ability to draft effective communications
  • Ability to work with people in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones
  • Utilizes all aspects of Emotional Intelligence to navigate the interactions and complexities of the business environment and drive leadership performance in oneself and in others.
  • Brings proven expertise in office renovations/relocations
  • Brings proven expertise in A/V technology, video conferencing, Skype for Business and office automation
  • Proven experience in consultancy and/or marketing and sales
  • Passionate, committed and determined
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of the product(s)
  • 5-10 years' experience in a service delivery role
  • Passionate, committed and determined

Other Requirements:

The role may also require the periodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues and some travel to support change or planned project activities.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor or master's degree in information technology or Business Management


  • Approximately 7 years of experience in a comparable consultancy role.
