Do you have broad professional sales and/or project management experience within the IT sector in managed services and business applications services deals? Are you interested to know all about Fujitsu's products and services and are you someone who is able and driven to discover the actual need of the customer? Then you are the one we are looking for to join our team as a Senior Bid Manager!

As a Senior Bid Manager, you will be responsible for the full bid management process; from qualifying the deal and designing the solution, to the actual hand-over to the Transition team and Operations. Together with Sales you will prepare and lead the decision-making. If the outcome is positive you will create a project team with technical presales consultants, architects, legal and finance professionals. You coordinate this multidisciplinary team and motivate the team members to come to a competitive offer. In cooperation with Sales and the Bid team you develop the winning strategy.

The bids are complex and contain a mix of different Fujitsu's services including services from third parties. During the bid process you will show your management skills to secure effectiveness and efficiency and to minimize risks. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders on multiple levels in the organization as well as with external partners. Next to that, you will ensure that all risks for Fujitsu that will arise from the bids, are clear and documented, communicated to all stakeholders and are mitigated.

• You will analyze and articulate to the bid team bid-specific customer demands and aligns the bid strategy and overall Fujitsu company strategy.
• You will identify and organize resources required for a specific bid with line management support. You will ensure that resources are effectively utilized, allocate and gain commitment from named individuals to respond to specific sections/questions.
• You will manage the bid project including development of the bid budget, formal bid plan with the sponsoring executive, control of costs, quality and time. You will also manage all proposal deliverables and authoring activities according to the project timelines and to an high standard including providing guidance, support and coaching to authors and other contributors.
• You will manage the organization of storyboard sessions and the production of a storyboard to an appropriate level of detail. You will ensure that the final document has a consistent message and standard, giving an example of Fujitsu quality focus.
• You will manage the team to identify and assess delivery and contractual risk and develops mitigation strategies. You are responsible for the corporate risk management and approvals process for the bid and ensures full compliance with company processes.
• You will apply consistently company Engagement Management methodologies. Next to that, you will ensure transfer of knowledge; documents and communicates project results for re-use supporting development of the pre-sales communities of interest.

Your profile

You are in possession of a Bachelor or Master degree and have experience in IT sales and/or project management. You have experience in presenting in a straight and convincing manner, negotiate with clients and suppliers regarding offers. You are experiences in working within the commercial field and have a strong customer focus. As a person you are pro-active, stress resistant, someone who likes to improve ways of working and has great communication skills. Next to that, you are flexible and someone who creates a space of knowledge sharing.
