Our client is an innovative Systems Integrator that specialise in Cyber-Secure infrastructure and cloud solutions for our customers in both the public and private sectors.
You will be responsible for:

• Providing technical consultancy for customer solutions.
• Provide 1st/2nd Line support (including Out of Hours On call rota).
• Setup and configuration of networking hardware and software products.
• Manage technical system delivery against project plans to ensure timely delivery project deliverables.
• Translate project design documents into efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Responsible for production of network design and support documentation.
• Demonstrate and maintain specialist knowledge and accreditations.
• Report on emerging technologies and products
• Act as mentor to Junior Consultants and Sub-contractors working on their, or other, related customer projects.
• Assist the sales process by providing pre-sales support within their specialist area for project bids where required.

A few must-haves:

• Strong knowledge of at least two of the following manufacturers equipment:
• Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Meraki, Xirrus or Aruba.
• Design and Support of LAN, WLAN, WAN and voice networks.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network problems.
• Providing daily operational support and system administration for clients' networks.
• Ensuring that service level agreements are met.
• Communicating and negotiating with users, specialists, other staff and suppliers.
• Layer 2/3 configuration and routing protocols; VRF, OSPF, BGP, VRRP ;HSRP etc.
• Firewalls, NAT, PAT, Access Lists and VPN configuration.
• Have a good technical network background and real world experience.

Experience with Storage and Virtualisation Solutions beneficial.
