Account Manager - New Business

Are you a result orientated New Business Development Manager, who has experience with the IT industry, specifically focusing on selling Software/Hardware/Infrastructure solutions including Professional Services into commercial verticals?

Have you exceeded sales targets (new business focus) over the last 3-4 years as an Account Manager/New Business Development for a recognised IT channel partner?
Job Details
Our client, leading end to end solutions and services organization is urgently seeking to expand their sales team in the UK. The business is experiencing huge growth due to an increase in demand from new and existing customers. The successful candidate will be tasked to bring in new clients on board and managing existing accounts.

Responsibilities for the Account Manager - New Business will include (but not limited to):
  • Use New business development management techniques to develop selling opportunities within new clients prospects
  • Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information
  • Pro-actively seek new business by and new business prospects via channel partner community
  • To follow up sales leads generated by marketing activities generated by internal ISR teams

Skills required for the Account Manager - New Business - will include (but are not limited to):
  • 4+ years' experience within IT or Professional Services sales environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the department and across functions.
  • New Business skills "hunter mentality"
  • Full UK Driving license

We are looking for a hungry, dynamic, hunter mentality person to who has experience working for recognised channel partner who has new business acumen also proven track record being an overachiever to join a market leading data migration & end to end solutions and services organization.
