Summary of Role:
Raytheon UK is looking for a dynamic and high performing leader with experience of growing a business area from a strong existing base.
The successful candidate will have a track record of leading a successful, growing business whilst providing exceptional customer service.
With current annual sales of >£15M, the Customer Services and Support business has military and civil customers worldwide on systems such as air traffic radar, IFF/crypto equipment and Naval bridge systems.
The work location will primarily be Harlow - visits to and working at customer sites and other Raytheon facilities within the UK and Internationally will be required.

Main Duties:
Managing a team of project managers, engineers, on-site support personnel, operations and support staff, the Head of Customer Services and Support Business will be responsible for execution of the financial annual operating plan, developing long term growth strategy and developing and organising the team for growth/efficiencies. The candidate will be required to:

Deliver the financial plan for the business
Develop/execute long term business growth strategy
Work with Business Development and network to continually grow the business for Raytheon Corporate and external customers.
Ensure flawless execution of contracts and high level of customer satisfaction
Develop close relationships with existing and potential customers in all parts of the world
Ensure that Business goals and objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed by the team.
Work closely with the Global Sensors Leadership team to develop strategic direction and to maintain the 5 year operations plan.
Work with other Business Leaders to win new business from customer relationships derived from exceptional support performance.

Candidate Requirements:
Proven Leadership skills with a desire to succeed
Proactive team builder who can motivate and lead by example
Excellent interpersonal skills, team motivator, able to build strong relationships with customers and peers. Able to drive multidiscipline teams
Excellent Communication - written and verbal at all levels within the organisation and with the customer
Ability to identify and understand technical programme issues, to summarize key concerns and follow through with development of an action plan to correct or satisfy problem areas.
Education and Experience
Degree or equivalent in engineering or business management, plus established experience in project or business management.
Track record of successful delivery of a portfolio of Programmes/projects and growing an existing business area
Experience of dealing with UK MoD, US DoD, other Government departments and large multi-national companies
Ability to identify and realise new business.
