Working within our HR Function, you will see what it takes to run a major international business. We offer products and solutions to clients to help them defend and enhance the connected world; keeping people safe and defending our digital lives against attacks in the shadows.
Over an 18-month journey, you will be developed, trained and coached in skills and competencies that will help you become a skilled professional in business services and support. You will also benefit from the wider BAE Systems long-standing development programmes supporting the future talent of the business. Working as part of our core team, you will see, experience and support first hand all aspects of people resourcing from development and beyond as they develop their career.
This a really varied role. No two days really will ever be the same. What you'll need
To apply for the Business Administration Apprenticeship Scheme, you'll require the following:
•    A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C / Level 4-9, including Mathematics, English and ICT.

•    Initiative to manage conflicting priorities
•    Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn
•    Be able to enhance current processes and procedures
•    Ability to collaborate and engage individuals and teams at a range of levels across the organisation
 
Applicants will be expected to be medically fit as deemed necessary to perform the role, be eligible to work in the UK and be able to successfully achieve security clearance.

Your development
The focus of the Business Administration Apprenticeship Scheme is on the development of the individual. You will sit within the HR Future Talent team, supporting our Future Talent programmes including graduate, apprentice, intern, industrial placement and academy pathways. You will be supported across a wide range of different opportunities within the team and will build relationships with a variety of experienced stakeholders.
 
You'll have the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are experts in their field and gain insights that can only come from real-world experience.  You may also partake in 'Stretch Assignments' - these are opportunities to be involved in a variety of charitable and promotional projects to develop skills in addition to those that can be learned through studies or your work-based placements.
