Job Description:
Working within HR team using Raytheon UK recruitment procedures and processes to ensure that the HR function deliver to our service level agreements. This role will involve a proactive approach to recruitment in a fast moving technology environment, managing reqs via a direct to market model.
The main purpose of the Resourcing Specialist is to perform end-to-end recruitment in line with business requirements, liaising with hiring managers and HR-Business partners to fill vacant positions in alignment with business objectives. Therefore it is needed to advertise (with suite of media), proactively source and pre-qualify candidates to understand motivations/expectations and ensure they match stakeholder requirements.
With regards to the sourcing and selection part, it is key to demonstrate outstanding knowledge of the business, employer branding and sourcing channels. Within the role of Recruitment Specialist it is required to act independently in setting priorities and execute strict processes, without close supervision
◦Ability to determine recruitment needs together with business and functions
◦Communicating with HR Business partners, hiring managers, recruitment agencies and potential employees on recruitment activities.
◦Definition and implementation of recruitment campaigns, including the coordination of internal and external adverts to attract candidates
◦Organisation of all tasks related to recruitment, ensuring that all relevant processes around new starters is adhered to
◦Provide metrics & reports to the Recruitment Manager & business as required.
Essential:
◦Proven track record in a direct to market recruitment role, including writing job advertisements, job board database searches including Linkedin, Jobsite etc and candidate management
◦Understanding and experience of recruiting IT, Technology or Engineering staff, although the role will encompass the full spectrum of roles across the business.
◦In-house recruitment experience is preferred and ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management

Desirable:
•Previous experience in a process driven environment
•Degree educated
•Knowledge and experience of Lotus Notes
•Knowledge of the defence or technology industry and/or recruiting in these sectors.
