The main duties and responsibilities of the role
- Providing monitoring and incident response for emerging cyber threats.
- Liaise with the Global Security Operations Centre by responding to cyber incidents and sharing intelligence that may impact other member firms.
- Lead a technical malware response process during a significant outbreak event.
- Identify Cyber security threats and vulnerabilities utilising specialist tools and implement appropriate countermeasures.
- Ensure that appropriate access control methods and tools are in place for Cyber Security systems.
- Provide on-going support and enhancement of existing Cyber Security infrastructure.
- Assist Cyber Security Manager to deliver projects related to Cyber Security.

The skills, qualification and experience required for the job
- Proven experience in hands on technical Cyber Security roles
- Proven experience of vulnerbility management tools and methodologies
- Proven experience working with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems
- Proven experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, including advanced threat protection
- Proven experience creating and distributing threat intelligence reports
- Proven experience designing incident response processes
- Proven experience carrying out risk assessment processes related to Security
