Job Role
The primary objective is to work with both business and technology stakeholders in order to define, deliver and implement data strategies and principles.

Essential Skills:
  • Experience in designing and maintaining the appropriate metadata repositories
  • Experience in producing data models and familiarity of industry recognised patterns and standards
  • Experience in translating business problems into data designs
  • Experience in aligning user needs with organisational objectives and system requirements
  • Experience of metadata management tools
  • Experience in developing and setting data standards, advocating and maintaining those standards across the organisation
  • Strong ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery team.
  • Experience using Continuous Integration
  • Familiarity with Data gathering, visualisation techniques and tools.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in a continuous delivery environment
  • Experience working with Big Data technologies
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and distributed systems
  • Experience working on military or government projects
  • Experience working with secure development techniques
