Summary of Role:
The Training Bid Lead is responsible for delivering training bid activity within Airborne ISR based at Waddington, responsible to the Head of Training at Waddington.
This position requires sound knowledge and experience of training disciplines to act as the interface between the product and the support solution during bids.

Main Duties:
The Training Bid Lead will be part of an expanding Airborne ISR Training and Bid Team. This role is ideally suited to an experienced trainer with proven experience in both Military and/or Civil aircraft. The role offers an exciting challenge in supporting Airborne ISR bids with responsibilities for:

Requirement Capture
Requirements Interpretation
Statement of Works
Bid Proposals / White Papers
Representing Support Services
Ensuring that Training QMS compliance requirements are met
Presentation of data and reports to both team and customer
Sound communication skills with sub-contractors, customer and team
Communication with Senior Customer representatives
Ensuring that all Training Bid activities undertaken under your control are conducted in accordance with Raytheon UK site procedures that reflects best practice, and are in accordance with Raytheon UK and MAA procedures
Supporting Gates / IPDS Business Process

Candidate Requirements:
Track record of successfully delivering Aircraft /Systems training work.
An engineering background, educated to degree level or previous related experience.
Supportability engineering skills to analyse the product supportability to develop and deliver a training solution.
A high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Comprehensive understanding of standards and guidance relating to MoD type activities.
Flexibility to travel / work extended hours to support meetings.

Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required)

Proven record of successfully delivering Aircraft / Systems bid work.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
Well-developed planning and organisational abilities.
Understanding of military aircraft design regulations.
