Application Support Engineer - Software - Support Analyst - Support Engineer - Application Support - Fault Finding - Troubleshooting - Linux - Technical Support - System Support

Fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers or analysts to come in and work for a market leading consultancy working within National Defence & Security Sectors. You will be working as part of a larger team to contribute to remote access and client site troubleshooting.

 

The Role

  • Fault finding by remote access or directly on customer sites
  • Providing software fixes and updates to existing solutions
  • Providing technical support for bespoke networking solution by phone and email
  • Equipment/software installation/upgrade on customers' sites
  • Providing technical input to customer meetings
  • Testing of solutions
  • Creating technical documentation and training material.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with developing or maintaining software solution on Linux (preferably CentOS)
  • Experience with C++, Python, Django, Angular JS and PostgreSQL is highly desirable
  • Experience with IP networking is also highly desirable.
  • Degree or equivalent industry standard training.
