Data Strategy Lead

DATA STRATEGY LEAD - Rate - £650-750pd Contract duration - 6 months - Birmingham

Role Purpose

This is a key role to define how the standardisation, sharing and potentially commercialisation of data will develop through the use of 5G as part of the UK's largest testbed.

Specifically, the purpose is to develop the data policy, standard and guidelines across the domain of the programme.

This will cover and overall data architecture and ensuring individual project designs are consistent with that architecture. Ensures architectural principles are applied during design to reduce risk and drives adoption and adherence to policy, standards and guidelines.

Accountabilities

* Run the engagement of multiple stakeholders in determining policy

* definition of the programme's data strategy

* oversee the design of data policy, guidelines and models across the programme

* provide advice to project teams and oversee the management of the full data life-cycle

* Ensure that projects delivered by others are design in line with the overall data architecture Required Experience

* Minimum five years defining end to end IT solutions

* Minimum ten years technology delivery

* Minimum two years data protection experience

* Previous data governance experience

* Experience working within the telecoms industry (desirable)

* Experience working on past 4G/5G projects (desirable)
