Stanton House have partnered with a global Insurance firm and have been retained to search for a Cyber Risk Consultant on a permanent basis, to join their London based team. 

The role of Cyber Risk Consultant will be to lead the delivery on a range of complex cyber risk and resilience projects with clients, where you will contribute to the overall development of the Cyber Risk practice. You will work closely with the Heads of Resilience and Cyber Risk, the Global Head of Cyber Risk Consulting, and their insurance placement teams to support strategy, proposition development, sales and delivery activities.

Role/project Oversight:

• Oversee the project management of complex cyber consulting projects

• Build and lead small delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to a high quality

• Provide coaching and peer reviews to junior members of the team

Client Development:

• Support the development of marketing activities (e.g. seminars, mailings, etc.)

• Support the delivery, and/or review of research (e.g. reviews annual report, financial data, benchmarking, etc.) for business development purposes

• Contribute to building client relationships and inputting into client sales pitches

• Coordinate the response to procurement tenders from clients

Practice Leadership:

• Provide support to the practice leadership to enhance the current consulting propositions.

• Contribute to the open sharing of information and expertise across the group

 

Communications:

• Develop and effectively deliver complex written and oral communications, such as project deliverables and thought leadership pieces

• Delivery of complex messages using clear language to a range of IT, non-IT, senior and operational individuals

• 5 Years in cybersecurity consulting experience, cyber risk measurement, and/or cyber risk management

• Experience of leading cyber risk projects for a range of client organisations

• Well-versed on current cyber security technologies, industry developments, and issues, to direct best practices and resources

• Experience as a trusted cyber advisor to senior client executives

• Experience with industry standards, frameworks, and regulations in cyber security (e.g., ISO 27000-series, GDPR, CCS Critical Security Controls, NIST cybersecurity standards, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FFIEC, etc.)

• Understanding of risk and methodologies for the quantification of loss event magnitude and probability

• Knowledge of cyber insurance is very helpful but not essential

 

Education 

• Cyber-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM or equivalent)
