Summary of Role:
Primary responsibility is to ensure that the facility organisation remains compliant with the multiple Civil and Military regulatory approvals. In support of this it also expected that the development in scope and range of approvals is in line with Business Development plans.
Manage the identification and resolution of quality issues/concerns both internal and external customer originated.
Support the Accountable Manager and Head of Quality (AS) with defined Key Performance Indicators.
Pro-actively engage in the maintenance and development of the audit program, appropriate to the prevailing regulatory approval requirements.
Reviewing and determining regulatory and certification bodies' requirements and establishing their impact on, and relevance to, the business in its current disposition and potential or defined future growth areas.

Main Duties:
The primary responsibility is to maintain company approvals with compliance monitoring, provide efficient, reliable, advice to the business as part of the Quality Team and support the Head of Quality (AISR).

Duties will also include:
Reviewing and determining regulatory and certification bodies' requirements and establishing their impact on, and relevance to, the business in its current disposition and potential or defined future growth areas.
Proactive and committed in the pursuit for improvement and innovation across the business and is quality focused
Takes personal responsibility to ensure they are aware of the business objectives and issues facing the organisation. Actively networks across all business areas to gain the best possible solutions and savings from 'Lessons Learned'
Adhere to the audit schedule in line with regulatory requirements
Conducting Investigations, responding to Occurrence reports / customer complaints
Carry out root cause analysis
Working with the Compliance Manager to establish and communicate the annual Audit Programme which ensures maintenance of all Company approvals.
Inputting and maintaining audit results within Internal Audit KPI, identification and reporting on trends within the value streams.

Conducting independent Human Factors / miscellaneous investigations as they arise across the business.
Promoting Performance Promise and other Company initiatives across the business from a Quality perspective.
Acting as Quality System Advisor to value streams within RSL, providing advice, education and quality tools.
Creating and conducting presentations to advise operations of regulatory and customer requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:
Must be tenacious, but considerate, when following through to completion Quality Assurance issues.
Must foster at all levels within the business an understanding of Quality requirements and related subject matter, (Human Factors, Safety Management Systems etc.)
Must have a strong recent back ground in Flight Operations or Flight Test.
EASA Part 145, Part 21G, Part M, Part 21J, and Military regulatory experience
Worked within Flight Operations or a business with multiple airworthiness approvals.
ISO Auditor trained.
Understands the EASA 66 License process and its practical application
Ability to Hold a Form 4 Position in relation to CFAOS
Proficient in the use Microsoft Office

Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
