Job Title: Information Security Consultant

The Information Security Consultant will provide support to the CISO in delivering a number of operational security improvement projects as part of a wider security transformation programme. The individual will require broad experience of the technical and procedural elements of information security and be strong in stakeholder management. The Information Security Consultant will work with numerous business and operational teams, as well as suppliers, to ensure that security controls are implemented. This role is ideally suited to someone experienced in operational security projects delivering security change. .

Role Accountabilities

* Reports to the CISO function

* Supports the delivery of a range of in-flight security improvement projects

* Manages security control gap analysis and risk assessments against the existing infrastructure and application estate using security frameworks ISO27001, NIST and NIS-D.

* Advises on security solutions and their implementation within projects.

* Assists and supports internal operational teams in adopting and managing new security solutions and services.

* Provides support in RFI & RFP creation, Vendor and Supplier selection for future security services.

* Oversees and supports security initiatives within the critical supply chain.

* Assists in the preparation and delivery of security maturity metrics for internal and external audits.

* Enables and aligns to Information Security strategy and embed within the organisation

* Acts proactively to prevent potential disaster situations and input into disaster recovery plans and participates in security incident response

* Prepare and maintain any reporting and documentation as required

* Contributes to the overall success of Xoserve by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

* Work closely with enterprise and solution architects to develop roadmaps for Enterprise Security Architecture components
