Purpose of Role:

This role has responsibility for managing key finance processes, leading and coordinating team to successfully achieve financial and operational objectives, business process compliance, risk management and provision of reliable and accurate management information.

Key Activities:

• Ownership of specific end to end finance services delivered to the business incorporating:
o Provision of Actual, forecast and associated variance analysis to the business
o Full Balance Sheet management including working capital optimization
o Supports Managers with the business strategy, optimizing medium term business performance
o Assists with the production of a clear financial plan which underpins the Business strategy
• Support project culture and continuous improvements within the organization ensuring being role model by identifying, initiating and implementing improvements
• Reviews outputs from all internal and external audits and follows up with recommendations for improvements
• Ensure process controls are appropriate and fully implemented across area of responsibility
• Able to present contract, program and milestone level financials to senior stakeholders
• Appreciates the revenue and cost drivers of individual business segments
• Influences operational management decision making to optimize performance and protect the company assets
• Support and develop the team through regular communication, planning, coaching and performance reviews as well as ensuring development paths for all team members
• Ensures individual objectives are agreed with manager and works toward achieving them
• Ensure Knowledge Management for team scope

Skills required:

• Master Degree in finance/qualified accountant or other relevant finance qualification (ACCA /CIMA is an advantage)
• Minimum 3 year experience in finance and controlling processes
• Minimum 1 year experience of direct managing and motivating a team or proven experience in people managing role like leading project consisting group of members
• Excellent command of fluent business German and English (oral and written skills)
• Extraordinary communication skills (oral and written skills) and strong presentation skills
• A inspiring leader and team player demonstrating high business standards
• Change management experience
• Ability to operate autonomously
• Strong building teams skills
