Head of Information Security (INGO)

My client, an inspiring and incredibly well respected and established global charity is looking to hire a Head of Information Security.

The successful candidate will be driven and motivated to work for an INGO and be passionate about the organisational values and mission and willing and able to accept an INGO salary.

The Head of Information Security will report into the CIO and have budget responsibilities and a team of 5 to take ownership of a global information security programme from an organisation and new technology perspective and will fully oversee the following areas on a global basis:

• Information Security Governance & Compliance
• Data Protection Governance & Compliance
• IT supplier Assurance

The successful candidate will be able to display the following skills/experience:

• Significant experience in an Information Security Leadership role - within a global 'matrix' organisation
• Experience working with globally located  IT teams
• A strong commitment to the charity values
