Business Context
Raytheon UK is looking for a Project Manager to work within its Airborne ISR business.
This will be a rewarding role with extensive customer and business exposure.
The Project Manager will undertake assigned tasks which actively contribute to availability of the fleet of Sentinel R1 aircraft, whether in managing the timely delivery of spares, repairs, modifications or technical advice requests.
Such activities must be managed and prioritised to assure forward availability of 'fit for purpose' aircraft in support of the operational requirement.

Nature and Scope:
Responsible for execution of multiple concurrent projects, from proposal to completion. The successful applicant shall be required to:
Identify and manage dependencies to effectively support maintenance, development and change projects
Take an active role in the regular reporting and governance tempo of the business and the user
Generate and maintain assigned programme reports including task logs, progress reports and earned value analysis
Identify project risks and opportunities, quantify and produce mitigation, capture and contingency plans.
Motivate the programme team to perform and deliver requirements
Ensure the goals/ objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed by the programme team
Develop strong relationships with the customer and other stakeholders to ensure that they are meeting their commitments to the project.

Candidate Requirements:
A successful track record in executing full lifecycle development programmes for the UK MoD
Appetite and aptitude to chase and expedite key programme actions
Degree or equivalent qualification in either a business management or engineering discipline
Experience of effective management of programmes using Earned Value Management
Experience of bid and proposal management
Experience of working within a Military Pt145 environment
Experience of dealing with the UK MoD

Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
