Summary of Role:

As an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for co-ordinating campaigns to recruit graduates and apprentices to various programmes and business across Raytheon UK.

This role will manage the end-to-end recruitment in line with business requirements, liaising with hiring managers and HR Business partners to meet the early careers intake throughout the year. Although there is a large degree of stakeholder management & influencing, the role will also be required to execute the initial recruitment plan, and therefore will be required to develop a campaign/plan to meet the early career objectives and source & qualify graduate & apprentice hires to meet the business needs.

You will be building relationships with leading & appropriate education providers, including local colleges & schools and universities across the country, supporting events, and advising candidates and helping hiring managers find the right candidates for their teams.

Main Duties:
•Be the first point of contact for hiring managers, candidates and external stakeholders.
•Manage graduate and apprentice recruitment campaigns, finding exciting ways to promote the programmes to attract candidates.
•Working closely with the business and other members of the recruitment team and HR function to determine recruitment needs, ensuring the reqs are raised in a timely manner and provide Recruitment expertise & support delivering the right people at the right time.
•Manage the full 360 Recruitment lifecycle for all the early career Recruitment activity across Raytheon UK.
•Proactively engaging relevant target early career audiences to ensure we meet the business needs, which can require proactive sourcing for niche roles
•Screening of a significantly high volume number of applications and submitting the CVs to the relevant managers
•With the Support of the recruitment Operations team, organising interviews, supporting candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process.
•Coordinating & working with the business and HR colleagues to develop assessment centres ensuring they are engaging for candidates and portray a positive image of our business. This could include the preparation of assessment centre packs, booking rooms, liaising with business representatives and providing facilitation support
•Collating results from interviews / assessment centres, updating ATS system and managing the offer process for the successful candidates and ensuring a smooth transition to the on boarding process once they have been offered
•Welcoming candidates on site and potentially presenting information during the assessment centres and any recruitment/welcome initiatives
•Provide metrics to Head of Recruitment, Managers and the wider HR team as and when require
•Depending on the growth of the business and the graduate & apprenticeship intake you may be required to support other members of the recruitment team as required.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:
•Proven track record in direct to market Graduate recruitment, leading recruitment campaigns and managing the full 360 recruitment in a pro-active recruitment function, ensuring Raytheon attracts the best talent for the business needs.
•In-house recruitment experience is preferred and ability to demonstrate strong stakeholder management.
•Enthusiastic attitude towards early talent, helping graduates and apprentices to join Raytheon and provide them with a fluid journey throughout the recruitment process
•Ability to manage key stakeholders and ensure a clearly communicated plan is executed and tracked.
•Experience in reviewing job descriptions & managing campaigns to ensure the candidate quantity & quality is appropriate and sourcing candidates through job board database searches & Linkedin etc if required
•Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, to ensure the business is engaged & has recruitment delivery at its core to ensure success.
•Able to act independently in setting priorities and execute strict processes, without close supervision
•Good attention to detail with strong organisation skills, and ability to provide reports to track progress.
•Knowledge of recruitment systems / databases / recruitment technology (e.g. Social Media sites/Job Boards)
Desirable:
•Degree educated (or similar level)
•Knowledge of technical/IT Recruitment environment
•Strong reporting experience, with ability to generate reports or slide packs to demonstrate recruitment progress & challenges
