The Roles & Responsibilities:
• Experience with mission critical systems that can operate up to 24x7 systems to support live production environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve production ETL issues
• Monitor application error logs, system usage and usage trends and report issues to the client and identify/correct anomalies when discovered
• Monitor automated processes for specified systems and take action as appropriate to resolve any issues.
• Investigate and analyses information to draw conclusions as well as make recommendations for possible process improvement
• Be able to participate in the development tasks that could happen in the same project
• Are interested in creating tools and automation that enable engineers to be as "hands-off" as possible.
• Comfortable in a rotating support position including weekend, early or after hours work
• Provides support and troubleshooting for all related systems and technologies. This includes being a point of contact for business users
Skills Required:
• At least 6 years' experience in a data analytics, data troubleshooting , or as a data analyst ,Senior Test role
• Working knowledge of RDBMs as well as unstructured data.
• Experience working with both internal and external customer data
• Experience in development in Java, Big Data, RDBMS, ETL and Data warehousing with Linux environments
• Positive attitude and team oriented
• BS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Linux support engineering, operations,
• An understanding of networking protocols
• Assist in analyzing data for accuracy and consistency, working closely with the business users and developers.
• Experience in a support environment where can Keep track & managing of production support tickets pertaining to the specific systems and follow through until the ticket is resolved
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of data engineering projects, especially ETL involving sourcing data from disparate systems.

Summary of technical skills required:
o Oracle PL/SQL database development (desirable)
o Knowledge of database administration experience (highly desirable)
o Data analysis (highly desirable)
o Familiar with GIT SCM (highly desirable)
o RedHat/CentOS 6 experience (desirable)
o Performance tuning/query optimisation (desirable)
o Familiar with JIRA and Confluence (desirable)
o Familiar with RPM (RedHat Package Manager)
o Use of test driven/behaviour driven development processes
