I'm currently representing an ambitious and growing software house based in Worcester who is looking to recruit a Test Automation Engineer to help drive the QA of a number of successful products this organisation provides.

Your new role

You will work on software which is being used by a number of large public and private-sector organisations whilst being part of an expanding QA team. This organisation sells 2 main products on licence and have been approached by large US organisations for large-scale contracts.

On the day-to-day, you will work on either of these 2 products, automating tests for a number of new releases and additions to the product line-up. You will use Python and Selenium to conduct the testing, but will also have exposure to various other cutting-edge technologies.

You will help select the best test automation tools; plan, establish and maintain the test framework; write and document test automation case; help upskill the existing manual test team.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be a high-performing test automation engineer with experience in either a Windows/Mac/Linux environment, Java or Python (scripts are being written in Python), Gherkin, Cucumber, Postman, Selenium and have experience in load testing.
