Your new role
- As the Lead SOC Analyst, you'll be the last point of escalation to respond and investigate complex security incidents.
- You'll be responsible for ensuring that complex incidents escalated to you will be deeply analysed and effectively resolved, whilst identify the cause and recommend actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- You'll also be responsible for gather threat intelligence and ensuring relevant cyber defence tools are implemented to secure existing vulnerabilities from significant threats
What you'll need to succeed
- You'll have experience within a security operation centres, working across multiple security domains, focusing on intrusion detection, forensic analysis or network and malware analysis.
- Experience in working with endpoint security tools, SIEM tools, threat detection and network monitoring is highly desirable, along with identifying threats, vulnerabilities, risks and implementing defence principles within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of existing and emerging technologies, malware behaviour and techniques employed by attackers to evade existing security controls and experience leading investigations and responding to complex security incidents.
