My client is a leading Insurance brand who urgently require a very highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with strong AWS (EC2, EBS, Lambda etc) expertise, CCSP certification (ideally) and good working knowledge of scripting or coding in Powershell / Java / Python.

The role will play a key part on a major business Programme. You will write scripts that define the application(s) and always be thinking about the Security implications. The role is to help build out automation controls through modifying, introducing and enhance through Security Controls testing. Other responsibilities will see you interface with key Service Partners, interact with a number of different teams and Design Security Controls.

Key Requirements:

- Cloud Security Engineering background
- Strong AWS (EC2, EBS, Lambda etc) expertise
- Good working knowledge of scripting or coding in Powershell / Java / Python.
- Able to demonstrate a Security mindset - always be thinking about the Security implications
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player

Nice to have:

- CCSP certification (or equivalent)
- Cloud Security Architecture experience
- Cloud Security Design experience
- Immediate availability
- Previous Insurance industry experience
- Security Controls Testing
- Experience working closely with 3rd Parties / Service Partners
