You will be working for a Global Telecoms company supplying expert technical services for a range of IP networks across multiple vendors and platforms.
Your new role
You will design core customer IP networks covering routers, switches, firewalls, network security and encryption overlay. You will process detailed customer design documentation, equipment configuration information, technical as built documentation and type approval of new hardware.
You will provide technical support to the department and customers by making recommendations on complex technical matters, suggesting technical improvements to processes, devise and implement corrective actions where problems arise. You will also represent the department at internal, customer and supplier technical meetings.

You will receive a competitive salary of up to £47,000, 5% bonus, 28 days holiday and contributory pension (up to 10%).

What you'll need to succeed
- In depth understanding of IP Addressing/Subnetting
- Design and delivery of network solutions involving Router/Switches/Firewall/Encryption
- A clear and analytical approach to problem management
- Knowledge of High grade Encryption technologies and their implementation within a managed IP network
- Use of Network management systems
- Professional qualification CCNA or CCNP
- Willing to go through DV clearance
