Job Details

Title -: Commodity Manager


Purpose of Job -:
As a key member of the Procurement team focus will be on providing leadership in the development and execution of Commodity Strategies. Responsibilities will include the development of key supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and defining and implementing Commodity strategies focussed on technology, capability, risk, and cost.

This high profile role will require a procurement professional who can operate primarily at a strategic level but with the ability to support at an operational level when required.

Main Responsibilities - :


Commodity Management

Provide a pro-active approach to supporting the Commodity on risk , market and technology trends

Drive KPI/scorecard management for suppliers.

Implement, negotiate and manage supply agreements and contract pricing with key suppliers

UK and some international travel may be required

Competencies -:

Education and Experience-:



  • Ideally Degree Qualified (or equivalent)
  • CIPS preferred
  • SAP preferred
  • Price/Cost analysis.
  • Working Knowledge of Contract Law preferred
