Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Cyber Security/Cyber Security Director to join a market leading Training & support engineering provider working within the Defence & Security Market. You will be engaged in exciting projects based in Cheltenham providing oversight and direction for the companies Cyber capability services.

The Role:

• Working with the company's Executive Team you will develop an aggressive growth strategy for the company's Cyber capability.
• Building on the company's experience and expertise in the fields of behavioural change and insider threat mitigation you will facilitate the development of a compelling and comprehensive proposition for the Cyber Services Business Unit.
• You will lead a growing team of 10+ specialists, in the effective research, design, development and delivery of Cyber security solutions, exploiting technology, harnessing behavioural psychology underpinned by theory, and driving growth in-line with overall business targets.
• Provide direction, leadership and co-ordinate all work of the Cyber Services Business Unit and to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all matters relating to the Business Unit's activity.
• Establish yourself as the company expert in the field of Cyber security consultancy and develop personal networks with staff, stakeholders and customers in target sectors.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability is required in order contribute to collaborative working

Skills & Experience

• A significant background in Cyber Security with certification to CIISP and CCP
• Technical expertise and knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus & RMADS
• Leadership skills required to lead a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed
• Ability to contribute fully as a member of the senior leadership team in a commercial organisation
• Experience of senior client engagement
• Proven experience in leading a growing commercial business and delivering ambitious targets
• A track record of customer facing business achievement
• Strong problem solving, decision making and people influencing skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to drive, shape and lead business change
• SC/DV Cleared.
