Senior / Principal Cyber Security Operations Consultant

A fast-growing Cyber Security Consultancy is looking to add an experienced Cyber Security Operations Consultant to their team. In this role, you will be working with clients around the UK to help design their cyber defence strategies as well as building and managing teams, handling incidents and developing playbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Building and managing Cyber Security Operations teams across one or more clients.

• Working with other security teams to ensure an integrated approach to client delivery.

• Assisting Directors, Associate Directors and the Sales team to identify and deliver on sales opportunities.

• Working with the Security Operations team to ensure systems are correctly set-up and configured.

• Dealing with incidents and developing runbooks.

• Helping Clients to understand the threats to their business and design effective security solutions.

Experience:

Successful candidates will have proven experience in the following:

• Leading an operational security team.

• Using cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.

• Dealing with incident management and developing runbooks etc.

• Managing and building client relationships.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong technical skills and business expertise.

• Ability to think innovatively to solve client needs.

• Holds (or is able to hold) at least BPSS national security clearance.
