Senior Java Engineer - Worcester - up to £50k

InfoSec People are working in partnership with a forward-thinking and rapidly growing Cyber Security Software company to recruit a high performing Senior Java Engineer to join their friendly and supportive software development team in Worcester.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will work within a multi skilled agile development team where collaboration and timely delivery of software solutions is central to the business.

As a Senior Java Engineer you will have:

• 5+ years commercial development experience in Java and the Spring Framework - additional programming languages such as C++ is also beneficial
• Proven experience with Java build tools such as Gradle, Maven
• Strong web development background working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Proven track record in multiple aspects of software development
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• A proven background in full life cycle software development
• Experience of working in an Agile environment helping to mentor and develop junior members of the development team
• An interest or experience in cyber security and IT security best practices
• Knowledge of development tools e.g. Jira, Qt, CMake desirable
• A working knowledge of operating systems Windows, Linux & macOS ideally
• Experience with test automation is highly desirable
