Your new role

A brand-new opportunity for an IT System Administrator to join this small IT team has recently become available.

You will be essential in the daily management of business IT systems, taking a proactive approach to error detection and preventing downtime in essential business services.

You will also be expected to play a key part in deliverables in line with IT strategy. This will include recommending product and process improvements within the infrastructure, including ways to improve IT security, new technology opportunities and delivering IT projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems for Servers & Workstations
• Domain \\ Systems Administration in a MS Windows Environment
\t o Manage Active Directory Users & Groups Configuration - Ensuring all users and groups are maintained to Principle of Least Privilege
\t o DNS\\DHCP\\IIS Configuration - Ensure efficient running of network services
\t o Group Policy - Manage our GPO strategy to automate IT tasks where possible
• Clear understanding and experience of configuring\\supporting VMWare virtual environments
• Demonstrable expertise in
\t o MS Server Management
\t o Network service management
\t o VMware Management
\t o Switch\\Firewall configuration & VLAN Management
\t o SharePoint Management
• Experience of working within an ITIL framework
