My client provides independent technical expertise and consultancy & offer concept design, asset management, programme management and technology services to customers in the defence, security, transport, energy and infrastructure markets.

Full job description:

We have a number of roles requiring differing levels of knowledge and experience within our Cyber Practice, primarily based in our office in Bath city centre and travelling to customer sites as required. However, there may be an option for the successful candidate to be based at one of our other offices.

What is the role?

We are recruiting for a number of consultants to join our multi-disciplinary Cyber practice. The team is a forward looking group that can call upon support from adjacent data Science and Human Factors SMEs in order to provide multi-faceted solutions.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in the role you will ideally have a number of the following:
*Experience of applying Security Risk Assessment methodologies and providing risk advice for a variety of systems and/or different customers.
*Knowledge of internationally recognised cyber standards, such as ISO 27001 or the NIST CSF.
*Familiarity with the latest NCSC advice and guidance and cyber related legislation.
*Knowledge of the Government's Security Policy Framework, MOD's JSP440, and experience of assessing compliance of systems against them.
*Knowledge of a range of security risk mitigations.
*An awareness of Threat Intelligence, Data Analytics and remote monitoring.
*The ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
*An interest in working on a variety of projects across domains.
*A commitment to continuous professional development.
*It is desirable that candidates either hold, or are interested in achieving the following certifications:
*Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
*ISO27001 lead auditor.
*CESG Certified Practitioner (CCP) in the Security and Information Risk Advisor (SIRA) or Cyber Security / IA Architect role.
