Role summary

This position plays a key role in our small team in Leeds managing the Treasury activities for our global business. The role will work within our Treasury & Cashbook team as well as the wider BAE Systems Group Treasury.

What you'll be doing

This role will be part of a team that executes the following process responsibilities:

  • Ensure all non-group funded bank accounts have adequate cash balances
  • Create 4-weekly cash forecast - report on actual performance to forecast
  • Manage the administration of foreign currency hedges & swaps under instruction from Group Treasury
  • Review of open bank accounts and ensure bank account signatory listings remain appropriate
  • Manage all bank account user profiles
  • Manage the administration of bonds and guarantees under instruction from Group Treasury
  • Manage loan arrangements with Group Treasury coordinating authorisation
  • Execute FX revaluation routines
  • Reconciliation of foreign exchange accounts


What we're looking for

Essential:

  • Experience in treasury
  • A pro-active approach and willingness to seek process performance improvement
  • Experience using a ERP system such as SAP or similar, and good Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail
  • Flexible approach that allows for working in other areas within the Shared services organisation


Desirable:

  • Experience in Cashbook
  • Operating previously in a shared service environment in a performance focussed business unit delivering to service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • Experience of working to tight timescales and consistently meeting deadlines
