Have you prototyped hardware platforms? Do you have experience designing hardware? Have you driven continuous improvement of a technical product? If so, we want to hear from you immediately.

Seeking an experienced senior hardware engineer at a Cambridge based firm. In this technical and exciting senior role, you will regularly prototype hardware platforms and create hardware security modules (HSM). You’ll also be responsible for:
 

- Developing product subsystems

- Designing and validating hardware associated with Agile product development

- Providing architectural support and creating the product road-map so solutions satisfy future product requirements

- Working with Product Management to establish needs and priorities for product hardware platforms

- Setting work with the engineering team to ensure commitments are understood

- Prototyping, demonstrating and integrating hardware platforms as part of “system demos”

- Ensuring continuous testing and change control of hardware

- Providing support to team members with less experience

You’ll perform a senior role within the hardware team so it is essential that you have:

- Awareness of low power design and micro controller developmental abilities

- Previously worked on products that possess fast memory, DSP, and 64 or 32 bit processors

- Knowledge of electric mechanical, RF, analogue, and mechanical engineering

- Analysed technical problems

- Provided new and well-reasoned solutions to requirements

- Designed for EMC, signal integrity analysis, and safe regulation

- Exposure to ECAD systems

- Experience mentoring
